DHL Says Kia Ora

With COVID-19 closing borders, we developed a creative strategy to showcase how DHL works tirelessly to connect Kiwis with the rest of the world.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We were tasked to launch a two month creative campaign across digital and OOH to generate widespread awareness of the two DHL Trans-Tasman planes with a creative short message. The objectives were to gain more business by leveraging the 2020 landscape, promoting that DHL owns their own planes and continues to be a reliable transit partner.

CAMPAIGN

DARKHORSE developed a creative solution called DHL Says Kia Ora. The campaign engaged new and existing clients to reinforce the established DHL network, and their ability to connect Kiwis with the world, regardless of the limitations on travel. The campaign was brought to life with a strategic OOH campaign, supported by social ad placements that directed consumers to a custom built website for lead generation.

WHY WE LOVE IT

DHL presented DARKHORSE with a deliverable, and through our creative-led strategy we developed a creative territory that clearly communicated the DHL offering, and lives on beyond the campaign life span.
